“Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space is our power tochoose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”– Vicktor Emil Frankl Most allow the event, the stimulus, to dictate their response. They allow loss to make them sad, lazy, and useless. They allow failure to ‘force’ them […]
The Strong Never Bully The strong are protectors. A man cannot be truly strong if he’s only strong physically, he must also be strong morally. That’s masculine strength. Complete masculine strength. When you’re missing the moral toughness, the virtues of manliness that real men, great men, honorable men possess, you’re going to be devious, ineffective, […]
My body had been pushed past its limits. The only energy I could muster was to put one foot in front of the other, keep my weapon on my shoulder, and lift my feet over any ground that looked disturbed to avoid dragging my feet over a pressure plate. I was in the green zone […]
Training has 3 levels… Men train… To Be Able To… That is, to be able to hike, fight, hunt, embark on adventures, live a grand life. Training gives us the capacity to do things other people can’t do. To Endure… Training also makes us tougher mentally, if we allow it to. It helps us endure. […]
Can you reach the right destination by taking the wrong road? Definitely not! Just like that, a negative mind can never give you a positive life. Negative thinking is the force that’s pulling you down and stopping you from reaching the summit. Some people think it’s good to analyze all the possibilities, I am with […]
Alright, I’ve been working on a book for almost a year now. I’ve printed it out, edited it, re-printed, edited again. I’ve added and subtracted and I’m adding once again. I haven’t talked about it much because I hate talking about it. How many people do you know who are ‘working on a book?’ They’ve […]
“The blade of self discipline is only sharpened through consistent, purposeful practise”. “Purposeful practise is achieved from the inside out”. Do you think there is any difference between a Navy SEAL and a Monk? At first glance most would say “ehh yes” But, when you look from a certain perspective then, the answer is an […]
Not giving a shit is something I’ve worked on over the years because it’s a necessity if you want to live a life not as a response to the opinions of others, but completely on your own terms and as your own man.
What follows is a 3-part task that is designed to bring clarity.
Clarity is simply knowing what needs to be done, and doing it.
Figuring out what we should focus on and work on is often the difficult part, and the aspect of life, work, health, that few take time to focus on.
It’s not the act of cleaning, it’s the feeling of having everything in it’s place, clean, tidy, so you can do what you have to do to win at life.
The proper function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time.
Accepting failure is a yuge part of becoming confident. Accepting it as a necessary part of victory is necessary for you to become the man you want to become.
The question I ask myself a fair bit is, am I too busy to be doing what I want to do or what I should be doing? If I am, I’m being busy on the wrong things.
True personal power is being a man, it’s bringing home the catch at the end of a long day of hunting. You have to be truly confident to solve any problem with a woman, and this has everything to do with you being the man you’re put here to become.
Soon I’m going to show you how to clearly define what you want in life, to find that clarity that’s needed to be energized and excited about life and where you’re headed. Today, however, let’s start with your hierarchy, your ‘why’ you do what you do. The Speech A few months ago a guy that follows […]
