If you don’t define precisely where you want to be, how will you know when you get there? ~Chad Howse

How much do you really need? (Read This: Do You Really Want to Be Rich?)
I was talking with a pal of mine about what we’d really need to be happy.
That is, what would we need to earn annually and possess in our lives to live truly flourishing lives?
That number is important, as is figuring out the costs of the life you really want, and not just the life in comparison to others lives or the life that society tells you that you should aspire to create, but your real, daily, dream life.
Where would you live?
How many kids?
How many dogs?
How many horses?
And so forth.
Figure out exactly what you want your life to look like, then figure out the annual income.
It’s more than likely a lot less than what you’re aspiring to create right now. Usually, what we really need to live a great life is already in our possession, which brings me to another exercise…
What does your perfect day look like if you had to live it with what you have and with where you are right now?
What time would you wake up?
Who would you work with?
Who would you serve?
Who would you talk to?
Who would you surround yourself with?
What would you do?
Figure that out first, then figure out how much you’d actually need in your pocket on a daily basis to absolutely THRIVE in life.
