Any time we talk about things I’ll start with a disclaimer. Things are useless. A man shouldn’t need things to feel worthy or proud. His value is who he is, not what he owns. It’s important to understand that the things you own end up owning you. The more you own, the more you’re tied down to a place or a lifestyle. I don’t like things. I’ve gotten rid of most of the stuff that clutters the mind and inhibits freedom, and I suggest you do the same.
With that said, some things are cool and can aid in our quest to craft a Legendary existence. The following are 5 such things that are, well, cool. As I find other things that I like, have bought, tried, and added to my life, I’ll include it into an article like this for your enjoyment. Maybe you’ll find something that you’ve wanted for a long time, you just didn’t know what brand to buy, or maybe you have a problem that you’re trying to solve and one of these gadgets provides a solution. I don’t know. I do, however, know that only awesome stuff will be profiled, no nonsense or b.s., no fluffy crap that won’t solve a problem, but will merely add another.

The Axe
Chopping wood was once a necessity. Though it may not be so any longer, it’s still one of the best workouts a guy can get. Any chance you get to get out in nature and chop wood, take it. As a side note: Any exercise done by Rocky Balboa in Rocky IV should be done, and done often. This includes chopping wood, running in the snow, and military pressing other humans whilst they sit in a carriage. The Axe profiled here is one of the best I could find. It’s hand made, it’s made of wood, and it’s created by an awesome company.

I’ve wanted one of these for a while, and with my Flip Camp recently taking a hefty hit that smashed its front lens, I shall get one. Not only does it provide an incredible HD image, it’s durable, water proof, and you can fasten it to anything. Alas, with all the good that can be said of this wonderful invention, the video below will provide insights into what can truly be accomplished with this wonderful little machine. Watch and enjoy.

How many times have you found yourself in need of a knife or pliers, scissors or tweezers, a bottle opener or even a package opener? Gerber is the best at what they do. Simply put. They make great, innovative knives and tools that come in handy wherever you live. If my pocket knife comes in handy on a daily basis, this thing will be a wonderful addition to my pocket, and yours too.

This is, technically, a “men’s health” focused site. So why the booze gear? Well, booze, though it’s poison for the body, is one of the pleasures in life that make our lives better, and sometimes bearable. Whisky is my bevy of choice, either neat or in cocktail form. And when it’s used in cocktail form, I prefer the Old Fashion. Tis the best, and possibly the first, cocktail ever made. They could have, by all means, broke the mold after that fine drink.
There are others though. And whether you’re entertaining your pals, or you’re swooning a lovely lady, impress them with the right gear, sure, but it’s more about having the gear to make whatever you so damn well please in the comfort of your own home. Böker Straight Razor
I’m not one to shave, but if I did, it’d be with this straight razor. A straight razor isn’t something you want to cheap out on. You want the smooth shave that they offer, and Böker is one of the best brands you can find, according to my research in preparation for this article, as least.
The benefits of a straight razor?
Your grandfather did it like this, and I’m guessing he was a solid fella. You get a closer shave. You only have to buy one. As long as you keep it sharpened, this thing can last you a lifetime. Whenever I get the hankering to start shaving again I’ll do it with this straight razor.
