4. Continue to be competitive.
The vast majority of the male population out there compete in some aspect of their daily lives; either consciously or subconsciously. You probably competed as a kid for toys, as a youth in sports, now as a man in business.
These competitive juices ignite passion, determination, and incentive to go far in life. Andrew Carnegie said, “While the law of competition may be sometimes hard for the individual, it is best for the race, because it ensures the survival of the fittest in every department.”
Working out can be much more than just a hobby or something to do, it gives you as your own person a chance to be competitive with your self, your body, and your colleagues. And competitiveness in the gym is a much more physical, literal competitiveness than it can be in the real world.
You lift more, you win, simple. Use the gym to keep those competitive juices flowing, and allow your wins in the gym to translate to wins in the real world.
5. Performance enhancing without taking performance enhancers AKA be a pro in the sack.
Contrary to popular belief, taking extra supplements, or steroids may make your muscles appear bigger, but it can seriously diminish your sex drive. WHO WANTS THAT? *not raising hand. Your girlfriend wants to feel wanted, not avoided while you spend hours in the gym, lifting weights instead of bedding her.
Do you know what actually boosts testosterone and increases your stamina. Good ol’ fashion weight lifting, and heavy lifting. Some of the best exercises that can naturally increase your testosterone include:
- squats
- bench press
- bent over row
- stiff legged deadlift
- lunges
- shoulder press
- pull ups
Incorporating these compound movements into your routine will be beneficial to your sex drive. And I mean in all honesty, who is going to complain? No one. No steroids, no boosters (unless medically advised). Lifting weights alone, can help you become better in bed by increasing your stamina, your overall strength to maneuver different positions, and impressing your partner with the ability to leave her wanting more.
There are plenty of reasons why men should be lifting and working out, these are just a few. Regardless, if anything, do it for yourself. The benefits far outweigh the little time that is required.
Happy Training!
