Here’s me with a glass of Birra Moretti, one of my favorite beers, in New York’s Little Italy. A place I’ve always wanted to visit.
Things I’d like to do before I kick the bucket.
I’m having some fun researching for these articles. There are so many things out there that I haven’t done and want to do before I take the dirt nap.
Give me a hand though. What am I missing or what have you done that you’ve always wanted to do?
My Bucket List continued.
6. Write a book.
I love to write and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed writing articles on this site week after week. I also like to read and I’ve found that if I like a book, then I really like and I can’t put it down. On the other hand if I’m so-so about a book then I rarely end up finishing it.
I want to write a book that people find it tough to put down. I’d also like it to help people in some way.
7. Go on an African safari.
I’ve always wanted to see a pride of lions hunt in their natural habitat. On the list of things to do before I die this has to be right up there as something I’ve wanted to do since I was a kid. There are so many animals I’d like to see in the wild and a good number of them are in Africa. I’m excited for this one!
8. See the earth from space.
The word awesome is used far too arbitrarily these days; there are few things that you can truly describe as awesome. I like the feeling of being in awe. I think that swimming with sharks, seeing the animals on an African safari, and seeing the world from space would all be awesome experiences and I can’t wait to do each and every one of them. This one would be the toughest to pull off, but I’ll give it my best shot.
9. Bungee jumping at Victoria Falls.
Let me know if there are other places to get this done, but I think Victoria Falls is right up there on the list. I’ve always wanted to try bungee jumping, although I may be all talk, and I figure I might as well give it a go at the best location. Any other suggestions?
10. Go hang gliding.
I’m sure I’m not alone in admitting this, but I’ve always wanted to fly, and I figure that hang gliding is about as close to the real thing as you can get. I took a look at some locations but couldn’t settle on the best one. Any thoughts? This would be an AWESOME experience.
