I stopped caring in the least about being called some popular buzzword, like bigot or sexist for example. I realized that whenever somebody throws any buzzword on me, for dissenting, what they’re really saying is, I’m a heretic. Those buzzwords are just a modern version for the scarlet letter.

That works for me for so long as government didn’t intervene. But, now we are starting to see signs that the right to not be offended is becoming a real legal threat. Gregory Elliot’s case is an example.
