I don’t believe anyone is inherently evil, just reactive and fearful and spiritually immature, maybe in previous times people would fight but we are surely smart enough and more knowledgeable now as a species, ie globally connected, to understand that, but it takes a lot of trust to let down your defences and say I will not fight with weapons, because the more people do that then hopefully the steam drops out of the aggressor, but if we continue to arm ourselves and get all tribal then the carnage continues and everybody suffers for it – my only question with war would be maybe against an outside threat to the species – dunno – then we would need a defence system i guess – for all we know that’s already in place!!

Competition is a great replacement for war. And competition where the victors and competitors are given the rightful awards and not the same awards as everyone who just sat on the bench spectating.
That’s the most spirit sapping action society conducted I have ever witnessed, a participation trophy. I competed in a ameture Muay Thai event and when my opponent won, he was given a larger trophy than I received and I was still proud of my accomplishment, we shook hands and I hit the clubs and if I would have seen him there we would probably been buying each other drinks,

I agree. I can’t say we ned war – even though it’s a necessity as long as evil exists – because war is a horrible thing and I’ve never fought in one. But we do need combat.
