YOUR IDEAL BODY ISN’T ON THE OTHER END OF A MAGIC POWDER OR POTION OR ‘WORKOUT HACK’. THE ONLY WAY YOU’LL CREATE IT IS BY BECOME THE PERSON THAT DESERVES THE BODY.

This workout is not for the faint of heart. Tough SOB's only!

This might get me in trouble with other people who ‘do what I do’, but there’s a 100% chance you’re not going to get the results you want chasing a trick, tactic, or consuming a supplement…

… Your ideal body is dependent on you becoming the person worthy of that body.

Right now, if you don’t have it, or if you’re not making daily strides in the right direction, then that’s not you.

Sure, you need to become more disciplined. Discipline is the fastest route to a better body, there’s no question about that. But most of us also need to become tougher.

We need to become tougher so we can persist through the cravings and push through the laziness that plagues every human, especially those who never reach their goals or build their dreams.

You can be a victim to your laziness and your cravings, or you can own those suckers.

I’m here to help you own them.

The focus of the Lost Art of Discipline is to become the person your goals need you to become if you’re going to accomplish them.

The focus of the Toughness Workout is to become the person your body needs you to become if you’re going to build your ideal body.

The focus, however, isn’t just getting tougher. We’re after results, after all. It’s not your intentions or dreams that matter, but what you actually accomplish, and the workouts in this program will help you build an insanely better body while helping you develop the habits and virtues that life demands you develop if you’re going to live the life you truly want to live.

3 Things to Know About The Toughness Workout

  • The Habits

To start, I’m prescribing certain habits that you’ll slowly add to your daily routine in the name of becoming tougher. We live cushy lives. Never before in our history as humans have we had it better than we do now.

Ease is rampant. It’s not wonder that entitlement and weakness and dependency are as well.

The point isn’t to make your life harder, but to make moments in your life more difficult, to make yourself want to quit a little bit more and then push through those moments.

Just like we’re breaking down your muscle in the gym so you can build it into something bigger and stronger, we’re going to attempt to break your mind so you can become something tougher.

  • The Program

The program is unique. It’s a tad brutal, so if you’re a pansy, it’s not your cup of tea.

While it uses methods based in science, like progressive overload and undulating volume and intensity, it’s a badass workout, a throwback to why we started training in the first place:

To train for battle.

Thus, it isn’t fancy. You’re not doing ten kinds of curls, but squats, cleans, and smashing the sledgehammer against a tire or an axe against a log.

This is OLD SCHOOL because old school guys were a hell of a lot tougher than the new school pansies tend to be.

  • The V-Shape

Program after program aims to help you build the ideal shape. It’s a shape that the Ancient Greeks knew about, as did the Romans. How, though, did they create sculptures based on this ideal without visual evidence that it existed?

It did exist.

It existed long before the weight room came into our lives, before curls and leg presses and cable pull-downs.

Chopping is one of the best exercises you can do to develop a V shape.

The focus of the Toughness Workout, beyond toughness, is to build a lean, ripped, muscular physique, but one that can actually perform in the real world.

THE ENTIRE BASIS FOR THE LOST ART OF DISCIPLINE IS TO BECOME WHAT YOU NEED TO BECOME TO GET WHAT YOU NEED TO GET.

THE TOUGHNESS WORKOUT TAKES THAT A STEP FURTHER. IT’S NO LONGER ABOUT LOOKING THE PART; IT’S TIME TO BE THE PART.

While the mind is incredibly powerful, we often need to break down the body in order to get the most from it.
