Comments on: How to Think Like a Winner https://chadhowsefitness.com/2016/12/think-like-a-winner/ Bringing Back Manliness. Fri, 23 Dec 2016 15:36:00 +0000 hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=6.9.4 By: Michael Wuest https://chadhowsefitness.com/2016/12/think-like-a-winner/#comment-27633 Fri, 23 Dec 2016 15:36:00 +0000 http://chadhowsefitness.com/?p=10322#comment-27633 Nice article, Chad.

Our mental frames really are choices. We decide how to interpret our circumstances. We decide to complain, give up, feel sorry for ourselves, etc. We can also decide to persist, keep our attention rooted in the present, and maintain positive focus towards only the essential (our goals.. as opposed to the obstacles in the way).

The problem is that most of us don’t have control over our minds. The thoughts that they churn out are often automatic and conditioned into us from birth by parents, peers, school, media, etc. We have to learn how to decondition our minds and then use mental framing to our advantage
