Life is not as black and white. It is 1000 shades of grey. Also, capitalism is now floored Chad. Before the privately owned federal reserve came in and the wealthy families who started it…rigged the whole damn system, yes capitalism worked, but now it is easy for them to gain control over everything without any conscience. When a capitalist corporation is able to control its government, corruption is the order of the day and instead of properly performing one of its prime functions, the government in question, instead, aids and abets the corporation so it can wrongfully have its way with us. So it is in the United States today, along with countless other capitalist countries around the world.

Corporations have such a lock upon our government and the other institutions of our society that they are free to plunder us and our national resources at will. The situation has progressed to the point where capitalism, the goose that laid the golden egg for the people of this nation, has now become a curse upon us. Capitalists are now our masters instead of being our servants and without any controls upon them they are self-serving masters at best.
Is socialism the answer? I say meeting half way is better… so both sides of the corporations…eh hum.. I mean government can keep each other in check. Unfortunately a number of the rich have let their agendas and greed get in the way of the greater good and have ruined it for the other rich who really care about people and the world. – Dave

What’s the point in earning a living if you can’t take a little time and hard-earned money to enjoy the things that you are passionate about?

I am a musician. I’ve played since I was 12 years old and decided to use my talents as a musician to share my vision and creativity with the world. Now, Leonardo da Vinci (painter, sculptor, architect, scientist, musician, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, astronomer, cartographer, botanist, historian and writer.), Michelangelo (sculptor, painter, architect, poet, and engineer), Van Gogh were all “creative, artistic, and entertainers” but they were also creators; creator of art and symbolism. For me it’s never been about pulling the ‘babes’, being famous, or feeling entitled. It’s about expressing my musical talents so that others can enjoy themselves… Do I lift? Yep. Do I box? Yep. Do I produce music? Yep.

I plan on making it in the industry to push messages like this, but to discredit the actual passion and gift some people have is absurd… I’m not special in the better than you kind of way, but I’m special in the music is my heart in soul kind of way.

My mission is to become a successful artist that can then help other artists become better versions of themselves by becoming one with their medium, to start tons on non-profits to help those in need, to go to school for architecture and construct gorgeous buildings and design vehicles.

Just because you’re choosing to go the ‘unknown’ route and letting the chips fall where they may doesn’t mean you’ll end up broke; you must be smart and choose your steps wisely. It takes a pair between the legs to do it. Anyone can get a 9-5. If everyone in the world got a 9-5 we would be living as if we were in the 1800’s.

It takes the ‘special’, ‘different’, ‘creative’, ‘innovative’ people to make some changes in the world.

Now, I say this because I’m confident in my musical talents… obviously do to positive reinforcement while playing for audiences…

If you believe you can do it, go for it. You’ve only got one life.

Now, humble. Me? Totally. But that makes you not-humble? Oh wait, so then why practice it? Are you a fraud?

I’ll tell you a story that will contradict all of the humility above, but when knowledge is being shared all rules fly out the window.

I’m a DJ, I hate the label. Am I good? Yeah, I think so. So do the people who are dancing their butts off… which is why I think I’m good… because I saw results.

I met a club owner with a group of friends, didn’t “sell” myself enough and my 2 other buddies got the gig. I didn’t say anything. I told the guy that I knew I could rock the whole club and it looked like I was just chasing the spot after my buddies got in.

Months pass, I shave my head (High-T, young balding), slim down (Thanks to the site 😉 Thanks Chad), and dressed to impress. Did my research on presenting myself (which to this day I don’t like, I kind of like the mysterious/behind the scenes vibe :)) spoke to the guy.

First night I DJ’d for an hour, I took all 4 sets from the other DJ’s because the club owner hadn’t been asked who was on set so many times in one hour…

I would absolutely love to read people’s take on this.

PS: All the statues posted on the site (which the Adonis body is modeled after) were created by hand by a ‘special’ person.

C’mon… All for external validation. I understand taking pride in your appearance, but it’s the humble/dedicated people who actually make a difference in the world. Meanwhile, the people who think they’re god’s gift to earth are all just full of it. They don’t know who they are. They live a life for the people watching them…
All those “geeks and dweebs” that are in engineering – designing rockets that will take us to Saturn, creating the internet, laptops, 5 mile long bridges.
Now, humans used to be a species that needed to be strong to survive (bears, wolves, coyotes, snakes, other big ass humans.) but we are also smarter than any other animal in the world.
Being alpha has nothing to do with how you look, it has to do with how smart you are and your decision making.
Who’s stronger? The meathead who can throw the 125 lb. dweeb across the room? Or the dweeb who at the push of a button can propel the guy in the air 500 ft.?
Everyone does have a calling… Pursue it, but pursue it wisely so that you have cash to enjoy the one life you have on your journey towards making an impact on this Earth.
