It’s really very important to spend 15-20 minutes to think and philosophize your life. But our culture has developed in a way that turns people into zombies which don’t think deep, just act on impulse. Facebook, Television, Internet, every technology expansion has contributed in our mental slavery. Instant gratification is preferred than spending some time for personal growth.

This doesn’t mean that tecnhology is bad, we just don’t use it the right way.

Ironic, isn’t it?

Great post.

I get frustrated in life when I don’t get my alone time so that I can reflect on life and meditate and pray. There are many who look at my time of disconnecting as being lazy or wasting time. But it is during those times when I’m re-energized, renewed and readied to take on the new challenges life throws at us each day. I can’t move forward without pondering the past. Thanks for spreading the word on reflection!
