However, I think it is important to keep in mind that it can be a long process of breaking free of false assumptions and limiting beliefs that can impede personal growth (towards a particular goal). Possibly a very long process… and might need a strong catalyst.
Where the article points out some oblivious limiting beliefs, it adds non-true assumptions to the mix too.
If you goal is to inspire changes of behavior, I would look into books and articles about cognitive behavior therapy. I strongly feel there are experts in this field that are more advanced in the topic and possess a greater understanding of the human psyche.
A lot of what you write about in the “Be Legendary” section shares a lot similarities to the study of cognitive behavior therapy. You seem to have some of the same goals and objectives of CBT.
Just as you didn’t just go out and write the Man’s diet without studying nutrition to formulate an informed opinion, I think your purpose on this section would benefit from looking at how difficult problems are handled professionally for people who have more extreme action inhibiting problems than your common reader. Again, really, just my opinion. Like nutritional or exercise advice from a newbie ought be taken with a gain of salt, I feel that a lot of what you say in section should be as well.

]]>I disagree with you. The truths of this blog don’t just apply to finances and could help with the issues you mentioned in your first sentence. Getting off your butt and working hard is better for depression, obesity and physical pain than any medication or social program.
