Ya, but John Wayne’s real name is Marion Morrison, so I think he who loses quite a few masculinity points for that.

Most people remember JW from his westerns, but I’ve always thought that The Quiet Man was one of his best how-to-be-a-man movies. Sean Thornton made his own fortune, was spiritual, generous, acknowledged his mistakes and stood strong for his convictions. He also did all he could to avoid fighting, until…..

This is why John wayne is and always will be my favorite actor. I have always looked at him as a good example of what it takes to be a man. The same goes with my father and an uncle of mine. They both have “wayneisms”.
