Yes.

The power of silence, getting out of the noise and influence of those that would prefer us be just as they are. Mediocre. Quietly desperate. Resigned to their fate.

The times I’m at my best, I’ve done the following…on purpose.

1) Turned off the smartphone
2) TV = nowhere in sight
3) Stick to a routine of good sleep, heavy exercise, real food.
4) Smaller, more authentic social circle of people on similar missions.
5) LOTS of alone time. People can be great, but they can also drown out your own inner voice that is urging you towards stepping out onto the ledge again, taking the big risks that make you come alive.

Thanks for what you’re writing, man.

I’m off to dare more mighty things.
