]]>Anyway I also wanted to add on to Kevin Cole’s comment. This is something that applies not only in work, but other parts of your life too. For example, when you make a commitment you should follow through, even if you feel like giving up. When I ran my first marathon, and my second, and my third, there was always a point when I felt really good. Then, after some time, I felt like giving up. I didn’t have my initial confidence. I felt like this was crazy. But then I thought about why I was doing this, and the fact that I made the commitment to do it, and that I had spent so much time training – a fine balance of stretching/strength training/actually running and other forms of training. As a result of these thoughts I persevered and then, the race was over. I hope that this will work when I finally commit to an ultra-marathon.
]]>That’s a great point. Perfect addition for an 18th lesson.
]]>– When you’re about to quit, go a little further. A breakthrough is about to happen.
I’ve experienced this so many different times throughout my journey.
Once in the beginning when I almost gave up on the unconventional journey and then stuck with it and built my first profitable business. Another time I was going to stop blogging and then I stuck with it, re-branded and my blog took off. Just the other week it happened again but I stuck with it, made a few adjustments and doubled my income.
]]>Good to hear man!
