It’s almost surreal that a book written 500 years ago was so precise in discussing power and what to expect once obtaining it. In addition, what to do in maintaining it.

Pressfield is really amazing and shows us that it´s a battle against ourselves and the fear never goes away… we have to deal with it forever….

Pressfield’s War of Art changed my life.
Brilliant article – thank you.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to get back to work.

It was between Tides of War, Gates of Fire or Afghan Campaign. Tides of War was a little hard to follow but to me was one of the best books I have read of all time.

1) Every person I’ve ever read about is just a man or woman with just as little a clue as anyone else. Anyone can achieve greatness.

2) Awareness is the key. My goal is self mastery, an unending process of constant improvement. Your words have helped me look within in a more demanding perspective as opposed to a view of acceptance and “in due time”.

3) Mastermind: How to Think Like Sherlock Holmes by Maria Konnikova. This book has changed how I view the world and helped filter important information from the useless. It taught me to work presently and calmly under any circumstance and I’ve become better at everything I do because of it.

Thank you for your words and inspiration, this world needs more people with similar views.
