I need harsh advice A LOT, so hopefully that wasn’t too much.
As far as women, I used to put beautiful women on a pedestal, still do from time to time, but as i said, they’re all going to be fat and wrinkly, and the right woman will see that man you are. Keep at it man!
]]>Thanks for your feedback. I don’t normally talk about myself, and am not trying to put down the paralyzed. Just have been very frustrated with life lately. Anyway, you’re right. Compared to people in Concentration camps, most of us have it really good. It’s important to remember that, and not get tunnel vision on our own problems. And the line about the judgmental girls ending up old, wrinkly and fat was hilarious. Going to remember that one for a long time. Will keep reading your articles.
Thanks & regards, Jon
]]>Your optimal isn’t to be a normal archetype. So change the mold. A good lady won’t think you’re a joke. One of my old man’s best pals was a quadriplegic, got married to a beautiful woman, had a daughter. I’m sure there are other examples out there.
Forget them. Sounds like you’re doing alright. But I wouldn’t say you’ve come close to reaching your personal best, maybe physically, but who gives a fuck about physically. Those lady’s who think you’re a joke will be old, fat, and wrinkly in no time.
Character is seeing opportunity, even if its a sliver. I know it’s easy for me to say this but if guys can find opportunity in Concentration Camps, Prisoner of war camps in Vietnam and Japan, where there’s supposed to be absolutely no light, then you have a duty to find it in your own life, with your own unique path and perspective.
]]>Technically, I’ve reached my personal best. But thanks to garbage genetics, my best is pathetic. Same is true for anyone in a wheelchair. Disability makes you a loser. Character means nothing.
]]>Keep fighting the fight man! Personally, I think community is overrated. We all want to be a part of something, which is great, and that’s what we’re building here, but being alone in a fight is a great thing. That’s where you grow stronger and find your purpose.
So keep fighting. Even if you FEEL alone, you’re not, and if you indeed are, who gives a rats ass, you’re alone and awesome, so keep at it.
