Only add olive oil if it’s raw – it turns to a trans fat when fried and heated.
White rice can be great, especially for hardgainers, and especially after a workout. It just depends when you eat it.

I’ve never really looked into the punjabi indian diet, it’s something I’ll have to take a look at more closely.

They’re wrong, man. Carbs spike insulin – even the “good carbs”. When you have carbs with fats, it increases your absorption and storing of said fats. That’s largely why you want to keep them separated.

Couldn’t agree more.

I know a tonne of people that still believe this true.

Do you think the truth is starting to slip forward, or do you think it’s always going to be an issue getting these thoughts out into the mainstream man?

I think the scales play a huge part in this problem too – A lot of guys want to see results (on the scales fast) and the best way for them to do that (in their heads) is to eat a tonne.
