These days, a person shouldn’t blame their standing in life on upbringing, or being poor.
When you’re an adult and you are in a bad position, you are the only one who can change things for the better, and blaming others will not change things.
Personal development is what every adult should constantly do to grow.

If they’re working four jobs and still are living paycheck to paycheck, they’re doing something wrong.

You’ve forgotten one important point, and in my opinion it’s one of the biggest problems in this generation: the contempt and disregard with which older people are treated now. To the majority of Millenials, if your old, your used up, your slow, and your just a drag on everyone else. Old is used as an insult whenever someone with a wrinkle on their face happens to disagree with them. Old people are so full of wisdom and experience, and I find that most old people are quite eager to pass that wisdom on to the younger generations. But calling older people wise and venerable has been discarded, in favor of calling them outdated, archaic and useless if they don’t agree with our beliefs and agendas.
