I hope it not inappropriate; but my end goal is to do as my old-man did for a while (take off- live completely off the land with only the sun rise and set as your clock and your thoughts the only Human noise. He did this for 6 years (after his degree and first career, then he met my mother, returned to society, had myself and siblings; sacrificed ,as you stated in the above, to serve family first, and now in his later years will one day return back to the wilds. He indeed is my inspiration and as you mentioned “who we helped is the greatest impact.”

Great quote. And your old man was a wise one. In the end I feel like relationships and who we've helped will leave the greatest impact on our lives as far as fulfillment than anything we've accomplished from a self-serving aspect.

The one's who truly do care about you could care less about your perfect, indeed.

We've talked about golf before. We'll have to be in the same place one of these days and get a round in.

Thanks for the kind words about the site. Good to hear people are liking it/benefitting from it. I'll still have a lot of fitness content coming up, but the lifestyle one's get a lot of feedback so we'll keep em coming for sure.

One thing I've struggled with in the past is defining a clear plan A. Since I've learned to find a bit more clarity in that things have taken off. I think it's a must for sure.

Great response, and thanks.

That definitely makes sense. I can see how your site has made the transition from more fitness information for skinny guys to more of a certain lifestyle encompassing success, fitness, and a certain way of being. And I really like that transition by the way, your newer stuff is kicking ass.

The question of, "where do you want to be in 15-20 years with NO limitations" is a great one and similar to one of my favorites, "what would you do if you knew your couldn't fail?" For me, though, there are a couple places I want to be and it depends on how certain things turn out (i.e can I make a living playing golf).

For me, my passion has shifted from golf to performance training to personal development and business. And now it's kind of going full circle back to golf, but with a new perspective and greatly improved physical skills. So it's a matter of going after that or doing something else I'm passionate about in starting my own business helping others. Or maybe both?

Anyway, I kind of went off a bit too, but thanks for the response. I guess I need to decide what that plan A is and give it everything I've got!
