Ya I usually workout between 4-7 pm at night. That's when I'll eat the majority of my carbs. Up until then my diet's mostly fats/proteins/veggies.

I don't like training in the morning, but I realize that some people love it. If you are, have some carbs before and after, if you don't you'll burn muscle.

What time of day are you training – and you can't keep a consistent time?

Curious to know what time of the day you are eating the meals that you described and what time of the day you work out. Do you work out at the same time every day? Given my job, I find that tough to do, and can't get into a good dietary rhythm. Also, what are your thoughts on working out in the early morning?

''YOU and only YOU have the ability to bring YOURSELF out of the rut you’re in. Others can give us a hand, but if we spend our whole lives waiting for help, we’re not going to get very far.'' Those are awe inspiring words and nothing I've ever read before motivates me to push harder in the gym and box my heart out in the ring than your articles on this web site. Also, the part about sprints is accurate as its high intensity anaerobic workouts which will give you better results of speed and stamina than long jogs.

I eat carbs everyday of the week – but primarily focused around my workouts. Off days I'll go a bit lighter on carbs but I don't worry about it too much. I don't think it's a bad idea at all, as long as you keep your fat content high enough.

If you go too low with the fats on a carb-less day you risk muscle depletion. Give it a shot and see how it goes. Just make sure you're eating enough carbs on workout days.

What is your take about carbs on off-days? I love structuring them around my workout, and have recently cut them out of breakfast from your past few posts. Keep up the solid info.
