I generally agree with eating the whole egg, not just the white. But once you are eating dozens of eggs in a single day, maybe you should cut back on some yolk… Another old-time fitness guru, Jack LaLanne, only ate egg whites, and not yolks.

As far as squats go… Gironda favored sissy squats, which are rather difficult to do with any appreciable amount of weight.

Agreed. In the marketing niche, especially in fat loss and dieting, it's very evident that there isn't really anything that's "new", it's just a re-labelling of something that already came out 5 years ago, which was probably modelled after something that came out 5 years before that.

It's interesting to see how marketers – who are very smart people – can twist something that's old and make it new and exciting. Some of it's crap, and some of it helps a lot of people become healthier and reach their goals.

Vince's stuff is great, and a lot of it needs to be applied a lot more to our training.

However, some is rehashed today but relabeled and reclaimed by others. For example: FST-7 is big right now but all it is is a modified version of Vince's 8 x 8 system!
