Love that quote Miguel – it's on the poster for the move "Braveheart" as well!

Thanks for the comment man. You raise some great points – our training is life magnified in a lot of ways. We face moments where we want to quit in a workout, and in life. Hard work in all areas of life is the way to go in my mind.

Great comment, thanks for that.

Tough times definitely reveal our true character. They are the catalyst that can reveal the worst of us or the very best. And that decision is solely up to us. That is what differentiates the "average joes" from "legends." We all have the potential to be great, but not all of us use that potential to the fullest within the relatively short time we have on this earth. I love this quote from a song, "…everybody dies, but not everyone lives." We all have to go through the fire, but will we be refined as gold and come out stronger and of greater quality? Or will we burn under our circumstances and let them control our lives? I've applied this mentality from something as simple (relatively speaking) as a brutal workout, to some very hard times I've been faced with, and I have come out on the other side stronger and a much better person. They've made me who I am today.

This is an awesome blog man, you've got some quality stuff here. You inspire and motivate us to truly be the best we can be in all areas, both in and outside of the gym. Keep going strong Chad, We really appreciate the effort you put into this!
