It's true – people are fascinated by bells and whistles, but have too short of attention spans to stick with what works long enough for it to actually work. They expect extraordinary results with average (at best) effort. One of my favorite things is when I'm in the gym and someone stops me to ask what sport I'm training for, or if I'm an athlete because I "train hard and like an athlete" – All I do is work hard, lift heavy, and avoid isolation stuff, machines, and cardio equipment..
