If you're in a rush for time, fire up the bbq or the oven on sunday and cook your meals for the week.

Bake a ton of potatoes, and for protein, chicken, steak, and pork are all great sources.

Andrew, we're in the same boat. I have insomnia, I've been to a few doctor's and to be honest, their ideas are pretty useless.

I've figure out some things that seem to have helped. Scotch before bed helps calm my mind. High protein/fats seems to help as well. A routine is a big one. But if you just can't sleep – it's going to be tough – but not impossible.

If you can find 20-30 minute nap times during the day, they'll give you a high quality boost in HGH.

I don't think I've ever slept 8 hours straight through the night, since puberty. When working in the trades, the physical stress of 12 hour days left me so overstimulated I'd typically sleep 4-5 hours. After the trades, I started sleeping 10-12 aggregate nights (usually a couple of wakeups). Now, I'm at 6-8 with usually one wakeup. How would a person sleep all night? Oddly, I've found a tall glass of red wine before bed seems to help.
