Mark I like it man!

I'll do the same thing – the music helps a lot with that. But ya, walking in with a chip on your shoulder is a great way to KILL a workout.

Great thought man – thanks.

Of course I lift really early in the morning so I dont have to communicate with anybody.

Shit works for me especially when i'm struggling to get through a lift.

Great tip – I'll check out those headphones.

I just got back from a workout, put some old DMX on the ipod and had an awesome workout!

Great article.

One of the best ways that I like to increase my intensity is through visualization combined with music.

Most people do this naturally, but few people can harness it and really focus on specific goals INTENSELY while listening to music. Most people go through a mental drift while listening to music.

We can only master our actions when we have mastered our thoughts.

Also, if you wear headphones while you workout, you have to try SkullCandy headphones. The INK'D ear buds I use completely block out noise outside of what you are hearing through your music. The sound quality is also extremely high…best ear buds I have ever had.

Keep them coming…
