Think of greens as a meal. When you break it down like that it's pretty cost effective (cheaper than buying the veggies that are contained in the greens for sure).

I have been trying to read up on all of your nutrition posts, and while I'm sticking to your advice about keeping nutrition very simple, I've been wanting to ask you, what are the "greens" you always refer to when you talk about your supplements?

I just ask this out of curiosity, at the moment due to my budget I am not using any supplements, but it's just something I've been wondering about since I have never heard much about these "greens" before.

I'd also recommend adding vitamin D to this list, as the benefits of this supplement are astounding, and it's impossible to get enough from diet alone (sunlight is the only significant source).
