I like the premise of the book and I’ll take a look at it for sure, sounds like a great read. I’ve never really thought about where I live as much as who I choose to spend my life with, my career and so forth, but I think it’s an important aspect of life to choose for sure.

However, having read “Who’s Your City?” by Richard Florida has changed my thoughts about my dream home.

I will warn you that the book isn’t 100% bang on, but the thoughts that Florida, the author, share were enough for me to really revise my my thoughts about my dream home.

His basic premise is this: why do people spend more time and effort on dating people and their career than they do on deciding where they want to live? He goes on to say that where we live have a huge impact on how we feel about life in general. So why not feel about where you live so that you have more positive thoughts to contribute towards your career and relationships, eh?
