Good to see you found this article. I haven't thought about this concept for a while. Definitely something that needs to be revisited!

Thanks for your thoughts on doing abs with plates.
I hope that you’ll do a synopsis of your video blog on your jump rope tips because I am deaf myself and cannot always follow what is being said in a video. Will you keep up with doing your synopses?
Yeah, feel free to use all of my suggestions.
]]>Hey Jonathan,
Plates with abs training – will burn fat and increase muscle, could increase waste size but in a good way if you already have no fat there. But if you have some fat there it’s a great way to actually build the abdominal muscles and burn the fat.
Jump rope – I’ll put up a video blog soon with some jump rope tips, but yes that’s a great way to up the intensity and relieve the pain in your calves.
Great suggestions for “7 things” categories, I might use them all if that’s okay with you?
Thanks,
Chad
]]>Something tells me that if you do abs exercises with plates, then your abs will get thicker and therefore your waist will grow in size too. I think I read this ages ago. Is this information incorrect?
Jump-rope sounds so much better than skipping rope. I’ve started doing it last Friday for the first time in over 10 years. I used to spend my recesses using a jump-rope and playing double dutch. It has come back to me quite quickly, but you’re definitely right about the calves. Whenever they ache during the duration of my skipping, I go into a “running man” mode while skipping to alleviate the soreness and then go back with skipping with both legs at the same time. What do you think of that idea?
My suggestions for future “7 things every man needs” topics are:
– food
– snacks
– maintaining a car
– music
