I also need to strengthen my cardiovascular system and lose weight. What is the first step I should take in eating and paring exercises?

No need to look too far. Just have a look on the internet as to where you can find them, they’re easy to do on your own, just read up on how to use them.

Thanks Jonathan,

Chad

Can I do the calipers by myself? Or do I need someone to assist me with this?

If I cannot do it myself, are there certain individuals in the fitness industry who should know how to do this? Perhaps I can research to see who is out there locally that can help me with carrying out this assessment.

Hey Jonathan,

I used calipers, you get a bit more accurate measurement of your bodyfat %. The scale you used is great for a quick assessment and sometimes they’re bang on.

I’ve measured super high on those recently (over 20%!), and for some reason my body doesn’t measure well with them, but you may be fine. Try the calipers and see where you’re at with those as well.

I measured at 8% recently with them. Anything under 9% is very good so if you’re at 7.7% that’s awesome!

Hope this helped,

Chad
