Hey I took a look at UNESCO, great info, thanks for that.

My Mom was actually born in Italy, she went back when she was in her 20’s and 30’s so I’ve been hearing about Cinque Terre and the Almafi Coast for years, both of those places are probably her favorites. I can’t wait to check them all out. I’ll keep that list and get a little research done before I get there.

Ya flights in Canada are stupid right now. I’m going to visit my girlfriend in NY in February. A flight from Seattle to NY (which I’m taking) is $280 or even less, but Vancouver to Toronto is 6 or $700, it’s rediculous!

I do feel lucky about the Olympics though for sure. It’s going to be fun.

I would want to do them if I ever went there.

There’s so much to see for art & architecture in Europe. Consider going to the UNESCO website and seeing what heritage sites there are in Europe. They only give their heritage designations to the very best of what the world has. Sounds like you’re definitely going to Rome, Italy. If you’re going to go around Italy, then give these places a consideration: Cinque Terre, Verona, Venice, Florence, Isle of Capri, Sorrento, the Almafi Coast, and Pompeii.

I just looked up what it would cost to fly out to Vancouver during the Family Day weekend. Over $700. Then, there’s the cost of the tix, meals, accommodations, and more…ouch!

I’m going to give surfing a shot in Hawaii for sure! And snorkeling and other things like that. I’ve gotta get on the planning of that trip there’s a lot of things I want to do there.
I love art and architecture and Europe has so much to offer in that department. The Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Vatican, are just a few of the things I’ve been wanting to see/experience for a long time so I’m pretty pumped to get that done.
And ya, can’t wait to catch a game, they’re going to be happening at a few locations around the city so I’m sure I’ll be able to catch one or two for sure.

What do you want to do when you’re in Europe?

Lucky you for living in Vancouver and not having to travel far to see a game or two during the Olympics.
