The Perfect Day

The greatest benefit of being in great shape isn’t the aesthetic – at least not in my mind – it’s the energy. Energy is everything in life. The more we have, the more we can do with out days. The higher quality our life is.

This perfect day is set up to give you more energy. To help you feel more vibrant. To help you focus and thrive at everything you do.

Don’t get too caught up on the times. Just pay attention to what follows each task/meal etc… If you can’t train when it says to, don’t worry, stick to your own schedule, just have the pre and post workout meals at different times.

Wake-up

Morning Workout

Do this one:

Breakfast

Eat this one:

  • 3 fish oil pills (Omega Blue)
  • 15 mg zinc
  • 3,000 IU D3
  • 2-4 whole eggs
  • 1/2 cup assorted berries (dark berries like blueberries, blackberries + raspberries)
  • 2-4 strips turkey bacon

Benefits: meat for breakfast helps slow the rise of blood sugar, which gives a gradual, steady increase to energy throughout the day. Assorted berries are high in antioxidants, and low on the glycemic index, so they’re not going to give you a sugar “rush” and corresponding crash. This meal is also great for naturally raising T levels, as is the supplementation given.

Snack 1 – Shake

Have this one:

5 grams BCAA’s 45 minutes before workout (BlueStar BCAA)

10 grams BCAA’s half way through workout (BlueStar BCAA)

Post Workout Shake

Post Workout Meal

Have this one:

  • carbs: quinoa or yams (1 portion about the size of your fist)
  • protein: chicken breast, fish, or another lean protein source.
  • vegetables (alkalize our body’s pH, helping us burn more fat).

Quinoa and yams are low on the GE (glycemic index), again, they’ll help you with energy. Regardless of them being low on the GI, keep your proteins lean. This is the meal when you can have a bit more fast carbs if you choose to do so. If you want pasta, white rice, or breads, this is the time to have them, and always pair them with lean proteins.

Snack before bed

  • 2 whole eggs
  • 3 fish oil pills (Omega Blue)
  • 15 mg zinc
  • 3,000 IU D3

Finish your day off with a good, high-fat snack to raise your T levels.
